The Metropolitan Detroit Veterans Coalition can always use the help of volunteers.  Your services can be used helping with the organization, logistics and support of the parade.

Among the many things you can do to help us make the Detroit Veterans Day Parade a success every year is:

  • Helping with the registration process of our participants
  • Sign In, directing to March Locations
  • Acting as Parade Monitors
  • Giving our parade participants directions and information
  • Acting as Parade Marshalls in lining up participants and directing them as to when to enter the parade.
  • Acting as greeters and escorts for our Parade Dignitaries and honorees.

It's easy and painless to become a volunteer, just send an email,  and provide the following information:

  • Name, Contact Information
  • Let us know if you are affiliated with any organization
  • What you would like to volunteer for
  • Any additional resources if any, that you could bring that can help us on Parade Day.

The MDVC recognizes that time is a valuable commodity and will make every attempt not to waste yours if you indeed decide to become a volunteer.  How much time you give will be  up to you.

We hope you consider volunteering, we can use your help.
